4. A Monstrous Regiment of Women, by Laurie King (made me want to be a biblical scholar)
5. Operating Instructions, by Anne Lamott
6. Red Bird: Poems, by Mary Oliver
7. The Essential Agrarian Reader
8. Holy the Firm, by Annie Dillard
9. Cry, the Beloved Country, by Alan Paton
10. Dakota: A Spiritual Geography, by Kathleen Norris
