flying daffodils

Seen today at the feeders: about a dozen goldfinches (aka flying daffodils), purple finches, lady and gentleman rose-breasted grosbeak, small flocks of white-crowned sparrows, mourning doves, red-winged blackbirds, and blue jays.  And lady and gentleman grackle pair.  And all over the yard, about a zillion robins.

N.E.W.T. update

I have until Friday or Saturday to submit revisions, which is good, since I won't worry about it on Sunday.  I've done some good work despite the draw of the outdoors and a random power-outage.  I also got some further clarification and guidance from my readers, which is most helpful.

Needing to do the revisions is not fun, but actually doing them  . . . is.  More evidence that I'm on the right track, career-wise.
