My body . . .
Aug. 1st, 2007 03:47 pm. . . feels like C3PO after he's been taken apart and put back together wrong. I had an 80-minute MRI last night to see if there is perhaps some spinal cord damage that might be causing the muscle seizures I've been having. Of course, 80 minutes lying completey still in an uncomfortable position brought on the seizures, but it's all in a good cause.
It looks like I'llbe starting physical therapy and another kind of therapy that involves electric currents (!) in the fall, which will be fun to coordinate my weekly trips to NYC. Still, as sarcastic as I feel about the whole thing, it's a relief to be able to do something about this pain.
Also, after my appointment Tua and I went out to dinner at the Tip Top Cafe, our favorite restaurant in White River Junction. Their dessert special was a creme brulee sampler - three small creme brulees in a dish that looked like it was meant to be a candle holder. The flavors were amaretto, orange, and ganache. They tasted beautiful!
